Sessions

Sessions last between 45 and 50 minutes. The first session will involve discussion of the forms you completed, your history, and your goals. We will take a minute or two prior to each session to complete a four question evaluation of your progress over the past week and then at the end to evaluate how the session went for you. As I mentioned, this is a collaborative process and your opinions about how you are feeling, the progress you are making, and your comfort with the therapeutic relationship are the most important. Using these brief session surveys has been shown to significantly improve treatment outcomes.

Payment

For general and couples psychotherapy, the fee is $140 per session. This fee for Anderson weight loss treatment is a one-time fee for materials and $125 per session for generally 12 weeks. All sessions are payable at the time of service. You can pay for sessions with cash, money orders, and credit cards in the office. Receipts will be provided upon request.

Once an appointment hour is scheduled, you will be expected to pay for it unless you provide 24 hours advance notice of cancellation. If it is possible, I will try to find another time during the same week to reschedule the appointment, however inability to reschedule on either part does not take away your financial responsibility. Cancellation requests can be made by phone or email.

Questions or Concerns

For any questions about treatment options and whether I can provide a good fit for your treatment needs, please call me during normal business hours. I will return your call within 24 hours unless I am out cell range. I will return your call within 24 hours of receiving it once I return and my voice message will indicate that I am out of town.
